Match Official appointment amendments: Maori All Blacks v Samoa and New Zealand v Tonga

World Rugby has announced amendments to the announced match official appointments for this weekend’s international matches.

Owing to Covid-related travel challenges, match officials Damon Murphy, Jordan Way, James Leckie and Amy Perrett (all Australia) are unable to travel to New Zealand for the New Zealand versus Tonga and New Zealand Maori versus Samoa matches.

As a result, the match officials for the matches are as follows:

Maori All Blacks v Samoa
Referee - Mike Fraser (Australia)
Assistant Referees: Brendon Pickerill (AR1) and Paul Williams (AR2) (New Zealand)
TMO - Shane McDermott (New Zealand)

New Zealand v Tonga
Referee - Ben O’Keeffe (New Zealand)
Assistant Referees: Paul Williams (AR1) & Brendon Pickerill (AR2) (New Zealand)
TMO – Glenn Newman (New Zealand)
